  • We are a small company that provide tourists a delightful experience with the local community as well as helping improve the local well-being by contributing additional income through tourism. Likeable means pleasant, friendly, nice, good-natured, and engaging. We decided to name our tour company LikeableTours, as we believe it fulfills our vision for our travel experiences. LikeableTours offers our guests unique, insightful, and memorable experiences. We truly believe that by learning as we travel, and through responsible travel, we can become more open-minded, and gain a greater sense of empathy towards others.

  • We are a small team based on Phnom Penh and its surroundings. We found this LikeableTours, small and medium social enterprise, is to provide an insightful experience to international tourists, while maximizing positive impacts on both social and environment. Moreover, this tour company is locally managed and found by Cambodian Young Entrepreneurs.

    Raksmey

    Mr. Raksmey EL

    Founder & Managing Director and Tourism Product Development Specialist

    Mr. Raksmey was born in Takeo, where is the oldest province in Cambodia. He came to pursue his Bachelor degree in Tourism Management at Royal University of Phnom Penh in 2013. Professionally, Mr. Raksmey has a wide range of professional experiences in volunteerism, tourism industry, and communications. He is also a founder & leader of WeGreen Project which is a partner with LikeableTours. As his dreams and passions are to help improve the rural community as well as to inspire young students, he has come up with ideas to do a start-up a small and medium enterprise as a LikeableTours to have positive impacts on community. What’s more, he is passionate activist and volunteers with a range of local social impact projects.

    Sophearoth

    Ms. Sophearoth CHHAY

    Co-founder & Marketing and Logistics

    Ms. Sophearoth graduated in Tourism Management from the Royal University of Phnom Penh. Her roles are to take all over the targeted tours destination on tour, as well as managing lots of logistics. Professionally, she comes with a full of experience in promotion, management, and development work. In her spare time, she is a passionate activist and volunteers with a range of local social impact projects.

    Bunna

    Mr. Bunna KAL

    Co-founder & IT Support and Web Master

    Mr. Bunna was also another Co-founder of LikeableTours, and he graduated a Bachelor degree of Computer Science from Royal University of Phnom Penh. Professionally, he has lots of working-experience with international organization in the field of Information and Technology. Mr. Bunna is passionate and excited to help spread the message on ‘’How to Live Green’’ to the local people through technology as well as strive to help the local community through tourism activity.

    LTs provides an equal opportunity to young university tourism students who are willing to learn more about tourism sector by hiring and training them as tour guides. Through your travel, the students are motivated to involve themselves with practical experience.

    Our community

    Your visit will make positive change in our community by generating more income through tourism activity such ashomestay, food providers, and local traditional transport.Moreover, 5% of your expenses will contribute to environmental conservation efforts.

    Responsible Tourism Guidelines

    We deeply value responsible tourism, and believe that travel should always impact on the local community positively; as the result, some of our tours directly benefit on our community development projects in Cambodian rural community, providing environmental education and youth empowerment projects for young tourism students as well as local tour guide.

    Rather than starting our own foundation, we would rather contribute to community development by enhancing local well-being and provide on-going supports training for existing projects. In doing so, we aim to create a network of local community social enterprise by providing professional Skills Development.
